Job Description
Eastern Water and Sewerage Company Limited (EWSC) is a Commercial Water Utility Company providing water and sanitation services to seven districts in Eastern Province and Chama in Muchinga Province. The company requires the services of a CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANTS who should be prepared to start work at the shortest possible time. The positions require s dynamic, self-motivated person to be based in Chipata and Lundazi.
CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT – 2 Positions
The main purpose of the job is to Collect meter readings, attending and resolving customer complaints, serving of bills and notices, carry out repair and maintenance to the water supply and sewer network pipes and accessories in order to ensure continuous distribution of supply of water and sanitation services to the customers and members of the public.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Full Grade 12 Certificate with at least 5 ‘O’ levels including English &Mathematics
- Craft Certificate in plumbing OR Diploma in Business Administration, Accountancy, Public Administration, Public Relations OR Any Recognised Business-related field.
- Computer Literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- A clean and valid Motorbike Rider’s Licence is NOT a must but will be an added advantage.
